The beginnings of ecological thinking

Green Soul, Anthropocene, cultures, imaginaries

The beginnings of ecological thinking. When and how is green consciousness born?

The second meeting, on Tuesday December 12 at 6.30pm, will define the culture, or rather cultures, of the Anthropocene through this methodological obligation: to qualify and specify its foundations: historical foundations, societal foundations, psychological foundations. When and how is “green consciousness” born? How does ecological thinking emerge? How does it affect our minds and bodies?

The “green conscience”, born of the field of theoretical reflection, is also an embodied conscience, lived intimately, forged in direct contact with reality, from the moment of contact with our domestic interiors and in the immediate landscape, which has become anthropocene. The best of green consciousnesses, the most efficient, the most combative, is less intellectual than organic, less a thing of the mind than carnal, a thing of the flesh.
